This shows the view point of Google about how an Operating System should be like. Google has specially targeted its open-source Operating System for the users of net-book to give them faster experience by reducing start-up and boot time.

Now, the source code of Google Chrome OS is revealed and available for download. The main target of Google Chrome OS will be the simplicity, speed and security. The Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010.

The consumers will not be able to install and run Google Chrome OS on any computer system they like. The details about the Chrome OS hardware support, compatibility and specifications will be available next year.
