How to install Android 2.1 on HTC Hero

android logoIn this post I'm going to tell you about how to install Android version 2.1 on your HTC Hero.

The developers at XDA Developers has just released the Android 2.1 for HTC Hero. The ROM is released by one of the developers named behnaam. It is now available for download for HTC Hero.

How to install Android 2.1 on HTC Hero

Follow the steps given below to install the Android 2.1 on HTC Hero

  1. Make a full Nandroid backup of your HTC Hero
  2. Flash this new radio 63.18.55.06HU_6.35.07.25 - Download it from here
  3. Perform a wipe - This step is important
  4. Download the new ROM
  5. Then install the downloaded ROM
  6. Now you'll have Android 2.1 on your HTC Hero
