The Google branded phone has been designed by Google team and the phone is named as Nexus One. The hardware of this phone is manufactured by HTC and this phone will run on the latest Android OS version 2.1. This phone is supposed to be sold by Google and will be fully unlocked, so that it can be used easily with any mobile carrier.
The homescreen of Android version 2.1 now features 3D elements in an app tray and a new row of grid icons at the bottom of the homescreen which looks inspired with Palm Pre webOS. This phone seems to be loaded up with Google Navigation. The lockscreen of Android 2.1 looks similar to the lockscreen of Android 2.0.1.
