There are many smartphones and mobile phones available in the market that have a on-screen keyboard but also have a support for Bluetooth keyboard, such as smartphones and mobiles manufactured by Windows, Nokia and BlackBerry. The Bluetooth on the iPhone and iPod Touch is not too much reliable, so it can't do much other than peer-to-peer connections, wireless controlling, wireless audio streaming. That means you can't share files and contacts easily.
Now, the developer Matthias Ringwald has made a driver that enables the Bluetooth keyboard to work with jailbroken iPhone and iPod Touch, this driver makes a Bluetooth on iPod Touch and iPhone useful. Basically, the developer has made an app that needs to be installed on your jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch which enables the device to connect and work with Bluetooth keyboard using the built-in Bluetooth of your iPhone or iPod Touch.
