Now, a company known as L5 has just unveiled a device which will help you to convert your iPod Touch or iPhone into a universal remote controller, that means you can control all your remote devices instead of controlling just your desktop PC.

The device invented by L5 is called L5 Remote. This device comes in two parts, that is a infrared remote device and a free app that runs a device. The working of this infrared device is very simple, the device is attached to the iPod Touch or iPhone through its USB port, then it sends infrared signals (like other remote controls) to your remote device.
