The Cowon W2 MID is powered by Microsoft Windows 7. This week, Cowon has revealed its specifications, release date and price tag. The W2 is releasing on January 25 in Korea, this device is having a price tag starting from 599,000KRW ($533USD) to 739,000KRW ($658USD).
The Cowon W2 comes in 4 different models, that are 60GB, 60GB Premium, 80GB and 80GB Premium. The W2 features a 4.8-inch WSVGA LCD touch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600, 1.3GHz Intel Atom Z520, 1GB RAM, TV out, two USB ports , one miniUSB port, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11b/g WiFi, a battery promising 10 hours of idle time / 7 hours of video playback, and having a total weight of 450 grams.
