Motorola Inc China mobile phone maker has said that we are having some plans to release five to six smartphones this year, there is one model already manufactured and will be launched shortly.

After losing a lot of market share for more than two years, Motorola has now started to manufacture smartphones and reorganize its mobile business by manufacturing phones running on Google Android Operating System. There are also some plans to develop devices powered with other platforms, like Microsoft Windows Mobile.

John Gherghetta, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Device Business has told that,

In China, we’ve already launched two models last month, and there will be another one very very shortly, and probably another four or five later.

Spiros Nikolakopoulos, Vice President of Mobile Devices said,

Motorola was planning at least 20 models across the world this year, probably four to five in every country.

According to Motorola, the new models has a more bigger camera and have more media features as compared to Droid. In first half there will be a upgraded version of this phone in China. He didn’t told that which Chinese operator would offer those latest models.
