Last time, the official news about the launch of Sony PlayStation 3 Motion Controller was Spring 2010. Now, engadget has just got a press release from Sony Japan regarding an availability of Motion Controller which will be in Fall 2010 worldwide with an extensive line-up of exciting software titles. This delay has effected Asia, Europe, Japan and North America.

The new Motion Controller will come combined with the Sony PlayStation Eye camera that will detect the movement of the users hand and then reflect those movements into the game, this will give a whole new gaming and entertainment experience to the users of Sony PlayStation 3. The users will need to use the PlayStation Eye camera to play with Motion Controller on Sony PS3.
Kuzuo Hirai, the President and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. has said that
We have decided to release the Motion Controller in fall 2010 when we will be able to offer an exciting and varied line-up of software titles that will deliver the new entertainment experience to PS3 users.
In the whole press release there was no mention of Arc, but Sony does concede that Motion Controller is a tentative name. Below is the full press release about the delay of Motion Controller.
