The reviewers at Pre Central has got a Pre Plus review unit from the Palm. During their review, they has decided to compare the latest Palm Pre Plus with its predecessor Palm Pre. As compared to Palm Pre the Palm Pre Plus has a double storage and RAM. To see the difference and improvements in the new handset they decided to test it. After test, they has found a lot of difference between two handsets.

They has compared both handsets by running same apps on both, that is Palm Pre and Palm Pre Plus. While opening the apps, they has seen that the Palm Pre with 256MB of RAM just opened 13 apps and shows a “Sorry, too many cards” error, whereas the Palm Pre Plus with 512MB of RAM has reached the 50 apps without giving “too many cards” error.

The Dieter Bohn of Pre Central has said about the Palm Pre Plus that,

“We can’t tell if maybe Palm sent us a ringer for a review unit, but you can see above that, no foolwoing, it’s 13 cards on the original Pre vs 50 on the Pre Plus.”
