The Mozilla Firefox is one of the popular web browser and the mobile version of Firefox is still in development stage. Firefox for Windows Mobile and Maemo is also under development, and Mozilla is now thinking to bring a Firefox for the Android.
The development on Firefox for Android was started in December last year. German Firefox community website has posted a news that alpha version of Firefox for Android is expected to be available somewhere in February.
After reading about the Firefox for Android on wiki pages of Mozilla, it seems that the Android version of Firefox will only compatible with Android version 1.6 and higher, that means it could not work on the devices with Android version 1.5 and older. The features of Firefox for Android is not available yet.
