Apple has officially announced the release date and pre-order date of their most awaited device known as Apple iPad. The WiFi model of iPad will be available in US on Saturday, April 3, and it will also be available for pre-order which is starting from March 12, while the WiFi + 3G model of iPad will be available later in April.
All models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and UK in late April. It will ship in other countries later this year.
Apple iPad – Pricing and Availability
The cheapest Apple iPad WiFi model 16GB version will cost you around $499, while the WiFi + 3G model 16GB version will cost you around $629. Below I’ve posted a full price structure:

Apple iPad – Pre-Order/Reserve WiFi and WiFi + 3G model
If you’re a US resident, then you can pre-order both WiFi and WiFi + 3G models of iPad starting from March 12 onwards by going to Apple Online Store. You can also reserve a WiFi model to pick it up on April 3, from an Apple Retail Store.

The Apple iPad was announced at the Apple “Latest Creation” Event which was held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco on January this year.
The iPad features a 9.7-inches of full capacitive multi-touch display screen having a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels with IPS technology and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, it is powered by 1GHz of A4 processor manufactured by Apple, having a thickness of just 0.5 inches and a weight of just 1.5 pounds.
