Sprint and HTC has just launched a new Android based mobile phone, the HTC Evo 4G. It’s the world’s first 4G phone.
The HTC Evo 4G is powered by Android 2.1 OS and features a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display, 8 megapixel auto-focus camera having a capability of capturing 720p HD video, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB built-in memory, 512MB RAM, HDMI output, and HTC Sense.

According to Sprint:
“Sprint 4G delivers download speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G, giving HTC EVO 4G the fastest data speeds of any U.S. wireless device available today.”

According to Press Release:
“Customers will be able to purchase HTC EVO 4G through all Sprint channels and through national retail partners, RadioShack, Best Buy and Walmart, this summer. Pricing will be announced at a later date. Pre-registration begins today at www.sprint.com/evo”
