Apple has just released the much awaited iTunes version 9.1 for Mac and Windows and is now available for download.
This latest version of iTunes brings lots of new features, improvements and security updates.
The iTunes 9.0.3 was released this year on February with iPhone OS 3.1.3 firmware and now the iTunes is update to version 9.1.
The Apple iTunes 9.1 brings syncing support for the upcoming iPad, also adds a new Books section which replaces the Audiobooks section in iTunes Store and much more. Below I’ve posted a list of other new features, improvements and changes in this latest version of iTunes.

- Better interface with summary panes including buttons like ‘Check for Updates’ and ‘Restore’
- Organize and sync books you’ve downloaded from iBooks on iPad or added to your iTunes library
- Automatic Bitrate converter which converts audio files to 128kbps AAC for iPod shuffle
- Rename, rearrange, or remove Genius Mixes
