How to update Motorola Milestone to Android 2.1
You can update your device to the Android 2.1 in two ways. Below I’ve mentioned both ways:
- Method 1 (Using ‘MotoUpdate’ website)
- Visit MotoUpdate website by going here
- Then use your device’s USB cable to update
- Method 2 (Using ‘System Updates’ feature)
- On your phone, go to ‘Settings’ and then to ‘About Phone’
- Now select ‘System Updates’ option
The total file size of update is about 40MB (Mega-Bytes). If you’re downloading this update using ‘Method 2′ then the GPRS data charges will incur. But if you want to avoid the GPRS charges then you can use WiFi of your device and use the wireless connection to update your device.
