HTC Europe has just released a new OTA (Over-The-Air) software update for HTC Desire.
This latest software update has firmware version 1.15.405.4 and is now available for download for your device.
HTC Europe Support site said about this update:
In our commitment to providing you with the best user experience, we are pushing out a new firmware update to your phone and the new software number after the update will be 1.15.405.4 for an HTC phone.
How to Update Your HTC Desire
You will automatically get the notification about software update and the update will be downloaded to your phone.
But if you haven’t got the notification about the software update then you can manually check for the update by following the step by step guide posted below:
- From the Homescreen, go to Menu then to ‘Settings’
- Select ‘About Phone’ option
- Then open ‘Software Updates’
- Now select ‘Check Now’ option
- Then, your device will automatically check for new software update
After the completion of download, your device will restart and the update will be successfully installed.
