Swedish based manufacturer, People of Lava has just launched the world’s first Android powered fully interactive internet television series and they named the TV series as Scandinavia.
The Scandinavia HDTV series comes in three different screen sizes which includes, the 42-inch, 47-inch, and 55-inch panels, with full-HD LED display, integrated Android platform, internet connectivity, and at the resolution of 1080p.
Christian Svantesson, co-founder and CEO of People of Lava said,
“Think of it as a device that provides all the functionality that you would expect from an Android smart phone, combined with the quality and de?nition you demand of a high-end Full-HD LED TV set.”

The Scandinavia series TV’s are based on Android which is an open source mobile OS developed by Google. It’s Android platform and internet capabilities will provide a wide range of functionality and easy access to apps like YouTube, Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter, Email, weather, time, calendar, and the web browser.
This multimedia TV is powered by Cortex A8 833MHz processor and is based on Android OS 1.5 Cupcake. It has USB ports, S-Video port, 3 HDMI ports, audio-out jack, video player, audio player, image viewer, wireless keyboard, mouse, and pointing device.
They will first release the Scandinavia 42-inch model, followed by 47-inch and 55-inch models. The price will range between $2,675 and $3,345. The shipping of this HDTV will start from September.
