Follow the step by step guide posted below to downgrade iPhone OS 4.0 beta baseband from 05.13.03 to 04.26.08 using Fuzzyband. If you don’t know the bootloader version of your device then launch the Fuzzyband, it will automatically show you the version of bootloader.

  1. First you must need to jailbreak your iPhone 3G running iPhone OS 4.0 beta by following the step by step guide posted here
  2. After successfully jailbreaking your iPhone 3G, launch Cydia from springboard
  3. Search for Fuzzyband and then click on install
  4. Now launch Fuzzyband app
  5. Press Downgrade button to start downgrading your baseband
  6. Now your device is successfully downgraded to baseband 04.26.08
