android os on iphoneSome iPhone Dev Team members has successfully managed to configure and run a debug version of Android OS on the Apple iPhone. They has also said that almost all the feature is working fine.

The hackers has used OpeniBoot which is a Linux 2.6 bootloader and works only with iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G. This bootloader features a dual-boot functionality that allows you to boot both the iPhone OS and Android OS.

In the video embedded below, the hackers has shown Apple iPhone 2G running various features of Android OS like WiFi, web browsing, search, and lot more.

Initially this hack only works on Apple iPhone 2G. The issue that hackers are facing is about the button layout as the iPhone lacks many of buttons and controls that are originally available on Android based smartphones.
