Motorola has just officially unveil the Motorola Flipout phone. Which is an innovative and their first ever phone to run both Motoblur custom UI and Android 2.1. This phone have enhanced Motoblur features which allows you to customize filters for Messages widgets and the ability to resize widgets.
This phone has a swivel design, 67mm square body, five-row QWERTY keyboard with a separate number row, multitouch support with pinch-to-zoom, enhanced Motoblur, Android 2.1, and much more.

Motorola Flipout – Features
This Android based phone has 2.8-inch QVGA TFT touchscreen display with 3 megapixel camera with fixed focus and Kodak Perfect Touch technology, CrystalTalk Plus technology which adds a second microphone to improve voice quality by filtering background noise.
According to Ralf Gerbershagen, vice president and GM, Mobile Devices, Western Europe, Motorola:
“Flipout merges Motorola’s design heritage with Android to deliver a new take on the typical smartphone form. In an incredibly compact square, Flipout fits neatly in your palm, purse or small pocket, making it fun and easy to stay connected while on the go.”
The features of this phone includes, 512MB internal memory, supports up to 32GB microSD card and comes pre-installed with 2GB microSD card, built-in web browser with Android HTML Webkit and Flash Flash, FM radio, standard 3.5mm headset jack, WiFi, GPS, digital compass, Instant Messaging.

What’s new in the enhanced version of Motoblur
The enhanced version of Motoblur allows you to take control over the Happenings and Messages widgets with the option to filter out messages and updates you don’t want, which makes it easier for you to follow those who really matters. You can also easily customize the appearance of your phone however you like with seven different homescreens and the option to resize and move widgets.
According to the Motorola Flipout press release:
“Motoblur, the only service that syncs all your friends, emails, messages, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter feeds and happenings with continuous updates and back-ups, just got better.”
The new version of Motoblur brings features like remote data wipe, GPS tracking, device manager which includes Battery Manager and Data Manager. The Battery Manager allows you to manage your phone’s power consumption, and the Data Manager helps you to manage your data usage.
