The AppSync is the app that patches the MobileInstallation file on iOS (also known as iPhone OS) by which you can manually install .ipa files on your iPhone and iPod Touch without using Apple iTunes.
Now the latest version of AppSync that is AppSync 4.0 is released and now available for download for those iDevice users who have successfully jailbroken their iPhone and iPod Touch running latest iOS 4 firmware.

Install AppSync 4.0 on Jailbroken iOS 4 – How to
Just follow the step by step guide posted below to download and install the latest version of AppSync on your iDevice running jailbroken iOS 4.0:
Note: To follow the guide below, you must need to have iDevice running jailbroken iOS 4.0 firmware.
- Launch “Cydia” on your iDevice
- Go to “Manage” and then to “Sources”
- Press “Edit” and then “Add”
- Now it will ask you to enter a “Cydia/APT URL” source
- In that box type “http://cydia.hackulo.us”, then press “Add Source”
- This will automatically update your Cydia source
- Now in Cydia, search for “AppSync for OS 4.0″ and then install that app
- After the installation is completed, then you’ll be able to install .ipa files on your iPhone and iPod Touch running iOS 4.0 firmware
