Another updated version of Sn0wbreeze has just been released, that is Sn0wbreeze 1.7 which is now available for download. This jailbreaking tool is only for Windows based operating systems. This version is released by iH8sn0w to add the support to jailbreak iPod Touch 2G and iPod Touch 3G on iOS 4.0 firmware only if you have SHSH blobs saved.
The working of Sn0wbreeze 1.7 is similar to PwnageTool which was earlier released for Mac based operating systems, which also creates custom .ipsw firmware file and allows you to update your iPhone/iPod Touch to the latest iOS 4 firmware without updating the baseband.
