Google has released an upgraded, redesigned, and simplified version of their Google Images Search yesterday. This new design provides a dense tiled layout which let you look at lot of images at once. It also provides you with instant scrolling between pages letting you to view over 1,000 images only in single scrolling page.
For those who don’t know, the Google Images Search was built in the year 2001 and in the same year they indexed around 250 million images. By the 2005, they had indexed over 1 billion images. And today, they have a massive index of over 10 billion images.

For faster scrolling through many pages, taking advantage of standard web keyboard shortcuts such as Page Up / Page Down. It’s all about getting you to the info you need quickly, so you can get on with actually building that treehouse or buying those flowers
Google is also launching a new ad format called Image Search Ads for the Google advertisers. These ads will appear only on Google Images and also let you include a thumbnail image alongside the advertisement text.
