The second beta version of iOS 4.1 and SDK has just been released by Apple for developers only and is compatible with iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 2G, and iPod Touch 3G. This is a beta firmware release and has built number 8B5091b.
The first beta version of iOS 4.1 was released on the 15th of July. Now the iOS 4.1 beta 2 brings various bug fixes and enhancements and also contains a new baseband for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4.

For those who don’t know, this beta version is only for developers. So only members enrolled in the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program can get access to these files and can download it by signing into Apple Developer Connection.
