OpenAppMkt has just been launched today which is a new web-based third party app store for all iOS based devices which consists of apps that are completely written in HTML format, and the great thing about this app store is that it doesn’t require jailbreaking of iPhone.
There are many other third-party iPhone App Stores which includes, Cydia. But to use these third-party app stores you must need to have jailbroken iPhone, which has gone legal but still not every iPhone user will do the jailbreaking.

The OpenAppMkt is a brand new app store for iPhone. Both, the app store and all the app in it are HTML based. The feel and look is very much like the regular iPhone App Store. It runs in browser and installation of apps just require a simple tap on “Add to Home Screen” button.
Below you can see the video overview of this app store:
Many of the initial offerings in the OpenAppMkt are free and it does allow developers to charge for their apps as well. This is an entire App Store for the iPhone that simply routes around Apple as a gatekeeper, and there is really not much that Apple can do to stop it.
To download app to your iPhone from the OpenAppMkt then head over to www.openappmkt.com directly from your iPhone’s built-in web browser.
