Today the iPhone Dev-Team has released the updated version of carrier unlocking tool which is known as “Ultrasn0w” for iPhone. This updated version brings various new fixes and upgrades for increased stability and performance.
For those who don’t know, the latest iPhone 4 has the newer baseband which requires complete rewrite of ultrasn0w unlocking tool. This tool is recommended for United States users who are still locked on AT&T cellular network because Apple is selling unlocked iPhone 4 internationally.

Ultrasn0w 1.1-1 brings various tweaks and fixes to increase performance and stability, some of those fixes includes, increased standby battery life incase if your phone is draining the battery fast after using older version of ultrasn0w 1.0-1.
According to the tweet by iPhone Dev Team:
“ultrasn0w upgraded to version 1.1-1 we’ve tweaked a few things that may help with standby battery life, you can upgrade via Cydia.”
The compatibility of latest version of ultrasn0w 1.1-1 is as same as the last version. It is compatible with iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4 and will work with all iPhone’s having up to iOS 4.0.1 with baseband 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, and 05.13.04.
