Here is another good news for those who have been waiting to unlock iPhone 4 iOS 4.3 baseband 02.10.04, 03.10.01, 04.10.01.
One of the well known member of iPhone Dev Team and the developer of Ultrasn0w unlock tool, named as MuscleNerd has confirmed via twitter that baseband 04.10.01 in iOS 4.3 beta 3 are vulnerable and the dev team is working hard to invoke them and unlock iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3 firmware.
According to the tweet by MuscleNerd:
Current i4 unlock goal includes til 04.10.01 (4.3b3). Very weird situation…vuln cmds are there, trying to invoke them!
So, it means that the upcoming release of Ultrasn0w unlock tool will let you unlock iPhone 4 basebands 02.10.01, 03.10.01, and 04.10.01.
In case you don’t know, it is expected that Apple might release the new iOS 4.3 firmware publicly on Wednesday, 2nd of March, at the launch event of much awaited iPad 2.
The updated version of Ultrasn0w is expected to be released couple of weeks after the public release of iOS 4.3 because iPhone Dev Team will perform some tests on the final version of iOS 4.3 firmware before releasing Ultrasn0w to public.
UPDATE: iPhone Dev Team has announced that they are now working on new unlock tool, named as “NCK-Unlock”, which will allow you to unlock your iPhone baseband 02.10.04, 03.10.01, 04.10.01 forever, read more about this new development here.
Unlock 03.10.01 is like Star Wars!!! Looks good will never come true so carry on dreaming! All this S about “not too long, maybe in the near future, nearly there, is all a crock of S! Either it’s there or NOT!
