Paint.NET 3.5.1 released and available for download

Paint.NET is a popular image editing tool that is available for free. Last week I posted about the release of Paint.NET version 3.5. Now, this picture editing application has been updated to the new version, that is 3.5.1. This is the first update to the Paint.NET 3.5, and this update brings some bug fixes and new addition for Windows 7 users.

Features, changes and fixes in Paint.NET 3.5.1

Below are the new changes and fixes in Paint.NET 3.5.1

New: For Windows 7, added taskbar progress reporting for long running operations (effects, adjustments, Image->Resize, save, install)
Made some corrections to the French translation
Running setup with /auto will no longer launch Paint.NET when it’s done
Fixed an issue where Paste into New Image would refuse an image on the clipboard, even if regular Paste would take it
Fixed a race condition with Edit->Paste and Image->Resize whereby it would take up 100% CPU and take between 1 minute to 1 hour to finish
Fixed an issues with Copy/Paste where it would leave an extra line of transparent pixels on the left, top, right, and/or bottom edges
Fixed lag with the paintbrush tool that was being seen on some systems
Fixed some issues with the paintbrush and eraser tool being misaligned when zoomed in
Fixed a crash that would happen at (seemingly) random times, such as after drawing with the paintbrush tool, on some systems
Fixed a minor and obscure rendering glitch with the Move Selected Pixels tool
Fixed an issue with glass over Remote Desktop or Windows 7 Virtual PC
Fixed a minor glitch whereby the "Unsaved Changes" confirmation dialog could never finish rendering the image thumbnail if one of the Move tools was active

In this post I'm going to share a small application that will automatically remind you about the plugged-in USB flash drive, so that you don't forgot to unplug or remove your USB flash drive from your computer. That reminder application is known as FlashRecall and is created by Stefan Kramperth.

This application will automatically remind you about the plugged-in flash drive just by showing you a pop-up window and a beep sound using motherboard speaker when you log-off the current user or shutdown your computer.

Other than giving you reminder about the plugged-in flash drive, it also shows information about your flash drive which includes its status, free space, drive letter.

Paint.NET is a very popular image editing tool, it has been developed with help from Microsoft. This application is available to download for free and has many great editing tools including layer tool. It can also be used as a replacement for Microsoft Paint that is included in all Microsoft Windows OS.
